More Fencing Work

We had some very special visitors to the farm today.  And they got their hands dirty.  They helped me with projects that would have taken me a few days to finish.

And it was their 13 birthday! And I made donuts.

We all worked hard doing different jobs.  Many hands make light work.  This is what we ended up with at the end of the day.

We now have new fencing for the Pumpkin Patch.

Raised beds going into the Goat Pen Garden.

The four raised beds now are being fenced in.

Along the way, we found along the way.

I think Murph could be praying for more help.

These beds when finished are going to be amazing.

Now there is wire fencing on the wood fencing to keep the dogs from digging up the veggies and the kids from picking the veggies.

Ernie worked hard forking the Pumpkin Patch.

These guys were great.  They worked so hard and were eager to help.

And this is how we got to this point.

Murph recycling, repurposing all the wood we could scrounge up.  The price of wood is absolutely out the roof right now.

Fiona cleaned out the compost bin down to the bare ground.  Now to make more compost.

Fiona dug.  Ernie passed it to me and I decided where it should go and spread it out.

And she did it with her hands.

We moved the cast iron bathtub.

Ernie moved concrete blocks.

Somebody had to keep Pappy busy and Saffi was our girl.

Fiona decided that filling the hard-sided bucket work=ed better than my garden buckets.

Ernie working up a good sweat.

The girls shoveling up the last of the dirt pile.

Ernie still working on the Pumpkin Patch.  The seeds are going to thank him for breaking up all that dirt.

An almost full bucket that is super heavy, well it is for me!

Ernie taking a shot at it.

Fiona filling the whiskey barrels.

Those plants are going to be so happy.

It didn't take her very long to get them looking great.
