They Are Best Buds

I got to text with Felissity and her mom the other day. It was so awesome to hear how well Boogie is doing.

I've seen this face before.

Felissity said that she walked o their neighbors and the neighbors were so excited to see her walking with a goat.  They were so surprised!

They went to the creek for a swim but Boogie wonuldn't get in.  I guess I forgot o tell he that he doesn't like water or rain.

Thsi all could not have worked out better for Boogie or maybe even Felissity.

 

This Garlic

 This garlic had been planted, rooted, dug up by the dogs, saved by me, and transferred to a new bed.  All this only to be dug up again and transplanted into the same bed that needs to be moved to the Goat Pen Bed.

I am hoping that when the time comes we will be able to harvest lots of garlic and scapes.

Mason Bees

 

I was scheduled to take a class online via Zoom with The Cincinnati Nature Center.  Covid vaccine took me down and I was unable to watch.  They were so kind to keep my kit for me to pick up at a later date.  I picked it up on Sunday.  I love the packaging!

So cute.

Came with instructions and everything needed.

New Place For Things

 Since all the animals except the dogs are gone from the farm and Pappy says he is finished being that kind of farmer (boo) so all of our gardening adventures will be posted here.  All the other yard stuff (flowers) will be on the other blog...Our Green Thumbs in Cincinnati.

Peas are in the ground!

Mark decided they would grow great on the old cucumber trellis.

So that is where they are.

He Is Livin' The Life

B the looks of the latest pics from Rusty, Boogie is livin' large.  He has made lots of new animal friends and he loves Felissity!  To the moon and back.

I found some books about goats and goat care that I gave to Felissity because she is researching everything goat.  I love it!

Another Boogie and Felissity Report

 I absolutely love getting texts out of the blue from Rusty about Boogie!  Makes me so happy to see that he is getting along so well and that someone enjoys him as much as I did.

I see that he likes apples and they tell me that his new favorites are graham crackers.

Look how slim he is.  He looks like he is getting the right amount of exercise and is not pining away missing us.

The report is that he now follows Felissity around wherever she goes.  That means she is his person.

I Think He Likes It

 I wonder about Boogie and how he is doing every day.  I don't want to be a pest but I just had to know so I text.  This was the response.

Boogie and his new best friend Fellissity just out for a little stroll around the farm.  This makes me laugh.  And I am sure that he loves it.

I'm not sure but by the looks of the pic I think he is betting his beard braided.

He loves attention and he loves being brushed or rubbed.

Off into the sunset, the new friends go.

I can never tell you how much this makes me feel better about the decision that I made.  It was a tough one but I can see it was the right one.  I think he will live a charmed life.  Oh and seems he likes graham crackers now too.
