While I was cleaning out the beds, Mark picked up some good mushroom compost and cow manure.
The green that you see are strawberries that I missed in the fall. So hopefully they will bear fruit this go round. I planted 29 Honeoye strawberries. (I did it before heading to CEI for cataract surgery).
This bed has 27 AV Valley strawberries.
I can hardly wait to taste the sweetness. I think we will have enough to share because I still have at least one other kind to plant. We just need to figure out where the best spot will be.
