We leave the garden gate open so the girls will just mosey in and begin to scratch the dirt up. Saves me from having to do so much of it and they leave some little droppings that are good for the soil too.
Work it, girl!
Now she is working on the strawberry bed. Not to worry we had old plants and they have to be replaced next year.
Farmer Pappy just has to get a tiller to work it up a little more. We have a good batch of compost that will be put in all the beds before planting time comes.
Looking like a million dollars.
We threw some scratch in there for the chickens to see if we could get a little more work out of them.
