Yogurt Treat

Some girls are z lot sloppy.

But they love a good outdated tub of yogurt.

They share fairly well.

But Leona seems to be the one you need to ask permission to eat.

And sometimes you just have to eat it off the others persons feathers...right Sunny?

Chicken Trick Or Treats

"You are trickin' me right?  Get that camera out of my face!"

Gave the girls a little treat today.  I pulled the tomato vines out of the Tower Garden.  Might as well give it to them...they ate all the leaves up as far as the could reach.

Chicken Treats

I know I have said this more than about a hundred times...but we DO have the best friends and neighbors in our little neck of the woods!  There are these awesome sister that can do anything!  I mean anything!  And they are the go to people for our animals.  They have a pet sitting business...Heavenly Petsitting.  I recommend them more than highly!!  We have a nickname for them.  It is 'the husky girls'.  I know that it doesn't sounds very nice but let me explain.  When we first moved in the neighborhood we would see them walking this beautiful husky.  This is before we knew that they did that for a living.  Michelle and Leah are their real names.  They are so fun!  And they know a tons of stuff.

They not only take good care of the animals on our little farm when we are away...they bring them treats too.  Homemade suet cake for the girls!

Pumpkin Guts

I read in one of my 'chicken books' that pumpkin or pumpkin seeds is a natural dewormer for chickens.  So the girls got their fill of pumpkin guts this weekend!

Sophisticated ladies eating from the bowl

EffieGrace and Keithetta Renetta using good table manners.

Looks like a big bite to me.

More like it EffieGrace, little bites.

Such the lady.

Our picky eater.

Looks like she might need a little more chicken etiquette lessons...no standing on the bowl.
