Theses Gardens Keep On Giving

 

This is the last head of cauliflower.  And one of the littlest carrots.

Of course, Avery would like a bite.

Pappy's turn to try out a little carrot.

We still have carrots and radishes in the grow bags and three cabbage plants.  A freeze is called for tonight and maybe some snow on Tuesday.  Better check everything tomorrow morning.

Flowers, Fruits, and Veggies

Our growing season is winding down.  But we have begun to plant over-winter veggies. 

I feel that this season of growing cauliflower was a success.  We kept it away from the cabbage moths by putting it under netting.

The last of all the veggies.  Pappy's raspberries are still going!

My purple asters were a plant trade with Betsy.

The Zimmerman's grew wildflowers this year and shared the last with me.

Not Pappy's favorite color scheme.  These are my high school colors.  We went to rival schools.  East being the best of the best.
