An Early Morning Visit

Imogene getting a sun soak.  She loves the sun!

Called in the farm hands to help pick strawberries.  My back is killing me from picking.

My first heart-shaped strawberry.

Look at the size of that one!

Jase giving his mom a berry pickin' tutorial.

You know it!

Strawberry Pickin'

Jase and I made one trip around all the strawberry beds and got a bunch of berries!

So far I have managed to eat my weight in them and put up three-quart jars in the fridge for oatmeal and midnight snacks.  I still have about two pies and some more quart jars left.  And I need to pick again tomorrow!

Give Us About Another Week

Another week and we should have all the beds filled and everything weeded again and weeded!  I am so thankful for the rain over the last few days because God has been watering our gardens.

This is the newest area...Blooms of NottaLotta Farm.  I call them the bloomers for short.  These beds contain cutting flowers that I hope will be beautiful.  I have big plans for them!

I still need to repaint the ironing board and print something on it.  I have an idea I am toying with right now.

In a few short weeks this bed will be full to overflowing with beautiful flowers you just wait and see.

I am trying my best to train these clematis to grow along the top of the fence.  It is almost halfway there.

There are a few mystery plants in here but I know that a Red Cardinal vine is starting to grow up the trellis.

Funky-shaped bed #1 will be amazing.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Funky Bed #2 is a real hodgepodge.

Two of the beds on the right side of the yard are almost complete.  The Pumpkin patch is up and running.

The tomatoes are ready to rock and roll.

Once everything is planted I'll get The Gospel Gardener to make a video but until then I'll keep working and Murph will still want to add more plants.

We Have Berries...

Emmy and I found blackberries today.  Well, new green blackberries.

And I picked these beauties!

Almost Ready

Murph is a garden MACHINE!  He comes over on his day off and works hard to prepare things.  Now we are planting plants and sewing seeds.

This is a daytime birds-eye view of the big garden side.

This is the night view.
Once everything gets planted and labeled, I will post more pictures.  It is going to be great!

Murph Lovin' On The Garden

Another bed filled with garden goodness.

The goat stands guard.

I see waves of green.

Lots of tomatoes.

I don't know how he does it.  While I'm taking care of Wammyville is works himself to the bone...5 hours worth

The plants and people are going to love it and they don't even know it yet!
