I'm going to miss walking around the gardens in the mornings when fall gets here.

Sunflower Balance Challenge
Out of the corner of my eye, I kept seeing this sunflower bounce. When I looked closer, I saw that a squirrel was trying to get some seeds. It was so fun to watch.
I snuck into the red door flower bed and eased my camera around the edge of the door.
I got caught!
And away he scampered.

The Harvest Isn't Over Yet
These little beauties are still a mystery to us.
Will she survive the critters, yahoos, the vine bores?
I am overjoyed to see these two beauties.
She's getting bigger by the day.
These two are jsut hanging around on the fence.
I jsut keep finding them.
Lots and lots of yellow blooms.
Guess what everyone is getting for Christmas?
I hope this little beauty survives the hot driveway!
All kinds of birdhouse gourd blooms, but no gourds to be found. This makes me sad.

In The Garden
Murph picked today! All his favorites!
Two itty-bitty green pumpkins.
These seem to be rare around here...a female flower.
Have no idea
Another little pumpkin I found in the leaf pile.
We planted none of these.
I don't think this one will survive the driveway.
This is what is left of the tomatoes after Avery helps pick them. That kid loves a good tomato!
My garden angel has watched over many gardens.
One of my loofa blooms.
I'm going to need a bigger table.
A big, beautiful loofa flower.
The start of a loofa.
Great corking on one of Murph's hot jalapeño peppers.
Lots of okra. Next year, I think two plants will be more than enough.
Look closely and you will see something that makes me smile.
A birdhouse gourd flower.
We call them fancy gourds.
I love seeing this on the fence line.
The first of 5 loofahs.
