While we were in Maine we got a call from Emmy that Boot had passed. What should she do! There were options and the one that made the most sense was to bury him on a farm (all animals got to a farm to die, right?) So we called the Racer's and Sharone and Emmy came up with a plan. Texts and calls were made all over the place to find someone to help them Trevor Ellison came to our rescue. They got a plan together and were able to do what they needed to do. Emmy even sent me pics of them hand digging the grave and one with a cross she had made when they were finished. Have no idea what happened. Just so sad. I felt bad for them finding him and then having to deal with it all. So I owe you all dinner! Thank you so very much!

Hot Tub Frog
I opened up the hot tub and look what I found just chillin' on the side...a little grey tree frog.
While I checked the chemicals he just hung around and watched.
I'm wondering what I should name him?
Cooling Off The Animals
People have asked me how we keep the animals cool on hot days. Lots of people have sent me the sic that is going around Facebook of frozen corn in cupcake tins. This is what we do...
But first...I think she missed me! ❦
Binker gets a frozen summer salad of romaine lettuce and granny smith apples.
The Girls dine on a veggie popsicle.
The goats love a good Licorice Lick.
And I put ice cubes in their water bucket.

And Then There Were Three
See anything different?
I call it my jellybean fairy egg.
Sad news...we only have three chickens left on NottaLotta.
My last girl Inez.
Pappy's Gladys.
Pappys brown chicken whose name changes every time I ask what it is.
They get lots of treats to help with our loss.

Goats Everywhere
We let the goats out the other day for a long graze in the backyard. They loved it and really didn't do too much damage.
The Burning Bushes do need a good trim.
Weeds only Boogie!
Good boy trim that bush.
We had started eating lunch and they must have heard all the commotion. The visited the Cluck-Thru. That was a huge hit.
The chickens might be short a box of treats.
Boogie wanted to come in to play so bad!
